Toronto to Host World’s Largest Blockchain Expo

Decentral and Ethereum Canada have just announced the world’s largest blockchain trade show will be hosted in Toronto, September 19-21. The three-day event will be sponsored by TMX Group, whose divisions include the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Montreal Exchange within its vast portfolio.

Blockchain World Expo Trade-Show Coming to Toronto

The Blockchain World Expo will be a multi-faceted conference with more than 50 exhibitors and 60 speakers from all across the world. Jean Desgagne, President & CEO, Global Enterprise Services, TMX Group said of the announcement:

TMX is very excited to be part of this important event in Canada that will bring together the global finance community to discuss and demystify blockchain use cases, implementation strategies, and solutions.

Blockchain technology is set to revolutionize financial services and world trade. TMX Group is no stranger to settlement and exchange as its well known for its stock exchanges the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and Montréal Exchange (NGX), a North American exchange for the trading and clearing of utilities contracts. The business also maintains derivatives, equities, and a multitude of financial management services. Blockchain innovation is on everyone’s radar, and TMX Group is very interested in the many benefits of these breakthrough financial technologies.

A Blockchain World Expo in Toronto, one of the leading fintech capitals of the world, is an excellent strategy for executives and innovators within this industry to gather and discuss this emerging market. The Expo will feature over 50 leading businesses in a large exhibition hall, and these organizations will showcase product line and services.
