Markets Today: Steem Gathering Steam, Maidsafecoin Marvelous

The markets put a broad smile on several crypto-communities’ faces today. The two biggest gains were 16.06% and 10.21%.

Bitcoin’s Rosy, but Ethereum Dives Further

It was all rosy once again for Bitcoin, selling for $781.15 as against Wednesday’s $779.05. Actually, its growth rate was 0.32%, to keep reigning as number one. Many community members believe the best Christmas gift for your family, friends, and loved ones is Bitcoin.

Ethereum continues to decline, but it held on to the number two spot. With a 5.44% sink and a market value of $7.90, it was the biggest depreciation for the day.

Ripple also stayed put at number three, but the value went down 1.23% as the organisation seems to be struggling this week. So far the only gain was yesterday’s marginal 0.11%. It was listed for $0.006628

Litecoin plummeted most on Wednesday but was on the winning track once again with a 0.65% increase. Most exchanges traded it at 18:00 GMT Thursday for $3.72.

After a dazzling performance yesterday, Monero couldn’t keep the tempo today, materially losing 1.10% at the 5th spot. $8.39 was the trading figure.

The second best performing crypto for the day was Ethereum Classic. The appreciation was a notable 10.12%, accompanied by an exchange rate of $1.12.

Dash dipped again but this time around lower at 0.65%. In fact, it sold for $9.06 to stay on at the 7th position.

Steem Was on Fire

At number eight, Steem posted the biggest gain of the day at Coinmarketcap, by a remarkable 16.06% combined with a market value of $0.196112. The past two days have been peerless for that token.

Marvelously, Maidsafecoin is not relenting — winning on three successive days with day-in-day improvement. The exchange rate was $0.082380 with a cool 6.49% gain.

Maintaining the bottom spot in the top ten was Augur. Today the value went down by 1.28% to close at $3.06.

Notable Cryptocurrencies of the Day

You need to watch out for Casinocoin, Reddcoin, and Adzcoin. They were inimitable today.
