The U.S. election approaches, and it’s more apparent than ever that representative governance is a joke. As millions of Americans fight between each other over two sociopaths, society in general looks quite dismal. Be optimistic, though — many movements below the surface are giving a general sense of hope within the confines of this insanity.

There are quite a few significant changes that are bringing positivity to these turbulent times in society, our economy, and governance in general. The internet — and the tethered technologies that flow through it — is just one of these movements.
Currently, the U.S. election is showcasing massive fraudulent activity, corruption, and manipulation in the worst way. But through this darkness ideas are coming to light. For instance, voter fraud is more rampant than ever before, and now global citizens are embracing blockchain technology to overcome this system’s weakness.
Bitcoin’s birth in 2009 introduced the first digital currency that could not be manipulated and controlled by a third party. The concept started with the simple idea of separating state and money. Since then, we’ve seen a constellation of many other ideas based on similar foundations. Many people now realize peer-to-peer relationships based on voluntary consent are superior to the way we handle things today.

Governments are slowly but surely losing their grips on society. This can be seen within the myriad of liberating movements taking place globally. For instance, the agricultural movement is educating people to grow their own food and depend on non-state controlled resources. Free market and anti-war activism is growing. Many focus on removing political involvement and fallible bankers from our economy.
The U.S. election is showing its true colors once again. Both Clinton and Trump are empowered by the central banking system that has deteriorated our economy. Both spew a significant amount of lies and deceit regularly. Still, people rely on this system of insanity and think nothing of it. They don’t realize or care that Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and the rest of the special interest groups are funding this erroneous behavior. This system of governance will never change and benefit the human race.
However, there are many who are questioning this matter. These people choose to participate in movements that remove the power from this system. Global citizens are utilizing the agricultural, ideological, and technological movements to build something better. The more we bolster these innovations and the creators of this new paradigm the quicker the insanity will end.

Bitcoin isn’t just about money because it has brought a revelation of new ideas. The idea that if we can build a network of monetary exchange without the corruption and third parties, we can do it with just about anything. This includes how we trade, how we think about the voting process, how to end wars, and how to create prosperity within society. Focusing on the systems of the past will only bring failure, and this is why innovators are building new.
If you ask yourself “is there anything I can do?” The answer is: there is plenty you can do. Concentrate on movements that are truly making a difference and forget about the small group of sociopaths running things for the moment. The ideology of “representative” governance is soon to be deceased. In time things will change for the better when concepts like Bitcoin, smart contracts, growing your own, and genuine autonomy busts through the current architecture. People can see these ideologies growing like wildfire as there is no doubt true change is coming.
These movements may not come to fruition in your lifetime, but at least you can say you participated in a positive revolution. Not one based on violence but based on peer-to-peer solutions, open sourced innovation and decentralizing the powers that be.
