The new service that Dotcom has been working on called Mega 2.0 has been teased by the Megaupload creator for months. Recently, his tweets have been involving Bitcoin and Mega having sex!
“I can tell you that Megaupload and Bitcoin had sex,” Dotcom wrote back in early July. “There is a pregnancy and I have a feeling that the baby will be such a joy.”
After this Tweet, I had contacted Dotcom for some commentary on the subject. He had responded and told me to reach out to him this January. Then on August 4, he revealed that Bitcoin will be an integral part of the new Mega design called “Bitcache.” Dotcom tweeted:
Every Megaupload file transfer will be linked to a tiny Bitcoin microtransaction. Get ready for Bitcache. Nobody will upload to any other cloud after Megaupload’s Bitcache goes live. 100 million Bitcache wallets. Bitcoin = $2000+ 2017
Over the next couple of hours, Dotcom continued to tweet about the cryptocurrency and his new project.
“Buy Bitcoin while cheap. Like right now. Trust me,” he continued. Dotcom then went on to detail various aspects of Bitcache including its launch date of January 20, 2017. Additionally, he listed the three projects in order, possibly hinting at a roadmap starting with Megaupload 2.0, Bitcache, and then MegaNet. MegaNet will also involve Bitcoin in what will be a decentralized Internet, Dotcom revealed to Mashable.
"I'll be at Kim Dotcom's Megaupload 2.0 & Bitcache launch on Jan 20 in New Zealand doing a @KeiserReport. Big news for Bitcoin."

It is no secret that Dotcom is a firm believer in encryption, freedom of speech and decentralized technology. Hopefully the new Mega can create a wealth of novel use cases for Bitcoin and bring new babies into the world!
