BitAccess has been featured major tech websites TechCrunch and Motherboard, as well as business magazine Entrepreneur. TechCrunch reported that the company planned to make their ATM machines “ubiquitous.” Motherboard considered BitAccess’ presence sufficient to declare Canada the “Bitcoin ATM capital of the world.” Entrepreneur placed the company on its list of “5 startups to watch at Y Combinator’s demo day” in August 2014.
The company currently operates in a number of countries. BitAccess CEO Moe Adham says that his team views the entire ATM and cash services industries as their competition, and they want to see “how much of that industry we can revolutionize and disrupt.”
