“Audit and Compliance is related to Access Control,” Disney explains. “Access control basically amounts to tracking who has access to what objects. Accesses can be granted and revoked.”

Disney explains through the posting that the company is a group of “forward-thinkers” and aims to “constantly pursue new ideas and technologies to help the Company’s many businesses drive value.” The corporate division believes this is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain valuable experience from a team that provides “unparalleled creative content to audiences around the world.”

The number of concepts blockchain innovations could add to the Disney program is virtually limitless. The business could start its own token currency used at theme parks, the protocol could monitor company data, or a reward system could be created. Anything could happen with this new emerging market that is opening up employment opportunities for those interested in working with Disney. The internship may not pay, but it seems probable that working with a Disney blockchain development team could be valuable to someone’s resume in the future.
